The Archipelago of Galápagos consists of six main islands, twelve smaller ones and over 40 islets.
And as some of them are quite far apart, they are really different and each one is unique.
There are sandy beaches, dry palo santo and scalesia forests, humid highlands with lush tropical forest and rocky coast.
And above all you encounter animals that sometimes only exist on one of the islands and nowhere else in the world.
The following pages provide more information about the islands that can be visited such as descriptions of the trails and the extraordinary fauna and flora plus photos.
